The Leeds band have seen the odds on their Employment album romping to the winner's podium slashed from 4/1 to 9/4 - don't ask us what that actually means, though. A spokesman offered the following:
"Punters are piling in on the Kaiser Chiefs to win this year's award and these type of punts are often telling when it comes to the announcement."
Other acts up for the prize include Bloc Party, Coldplay, MIA and The Go! Team. DiS reckons Redjetson might pip them... what? You've got to pay to enter? Lame.
