Thought I'd introduce my music, well not strictly speaking mine, more like mine and two other blokes...
Anyway, we're called The Chasms and we make nice noises. (open to debate)
We're a bit of an aquired taste I guess. If you like early Sonic Fucking Youth or early PiL there might be a bit of a chance of you liking us, but no guarantees. (doesn't really sound like either band, but not sure who else to mention)
Unless you listen to the wonderful Dandelion Radio chances are you will have never heard of us. But we did get voted no.5 in the John Peel Festive Fifty this year over at Dandelion Radio. I have no idea how the hell that happened, but that kind of made my year.

Recording wise it's virtually all done live, recorded on a stereo mike in a barn straight to minidisc, drums very close to the mike due to the volume of the bass and guitar, then vocals and sometimes a couple of other things (second guitar or electronics) recorded seperately. Then thrown in my computer where I try and mix the vocals etc into the main take.
