Wonderswan
Currently carving a niche as Leeds’ finest slackers, with chaotic but charming live performances typified by playing their songs far too fast and falling over, Wonderswan make warm, fuzzy slabs of lo-fi noise pop. Fresh from appearing on the Dance To The Radio 4x12" compilation and playing with Times New Viking, No Age and Lovvers, among others, 2009 is shaping up to be a pretty special year for Wonderswan. Think Pavement, Urusei Yatsura, Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh…think raw, honest, ramshackle, scuzzy fun.
