I know I am being daft but I am starting to feel a bit jittery about going on the tube on Friday. I think it is largely the media coverage in the last few days that has put the thing in my mind again.

I was evacuated from Green Park tube station that morning last year and my girlfriend, as well as everybody else in London it seemed, was in the train or three ahead of the bomb on the Picadilly Line. For me, it was bizarre - I didn't really know what I was doing and just started walking, and ended up at Sloane Square - almost the opposite direction to both home and work before getting myself back to Green Park and walking home - to Camden - from there. Weird day. I don't think I'll ever forget it. I kinda think there will be some rather concerned faces on the tube on Friday even despite everybody's better judgement.
