guess wot right: I cut my arm up pretty badly on a rock trying to surf on my hols, although a fucker of a laceration i decided i would leave it for a while to get infected and go all septic n shit. It was under my arm and the infection had spread to my lymphatic gland :(
A tennis ball sized absect formed under the armpit itself a short while later making it impossible to put my arm down at all and generally rendering my arm completely useless :(
Showering was a nigh-on impossible experience with a marble-like blood and puss residue seeping out of the boil at a quite disturbing rate :(
I return from the states on the eve of Friday last and had (minor) surgery the following day to remove the absect. A course of Benzolox-Penicillin and Flucloxacillian followed intravenously on a 24hr drip. I am now able to eat crap hospital food and i have the bladder capacity of a chipmunk :(
I leave the hospital tonight where i go home to my flat alone to look after myself and eat the only pot noodle i have left before having to go into work tommorrow cos i have taken waaay too many more holidays than the company policy allows. I will wear a sling and look :(
