I find it interesting how, despite the government currently tilting towards right, television is constantly biased towards left views.

Every time someone had something slightly patriotic about the flag, Tom Baker put on a funny little joke voice and says, "Oh well, if he likes to think it, let him think it, I suppose!". Then you've got that twat Billy Bragg with his rubbishy Union Jack song...

I think when people start having a pop at the Union Jack, its going slightly crazily left wing. Yes there are silly far-right groups that use the flag as their logo, but what about extremist Muslim groups that use their religion as the excuse to kick off?

I've got nothing but contempt for the Royal Family, but when people start to hate the Union Jack 'because it symbolises conquest and empire', I think they're pushing it slightly.
