By 'stuff' I guess I mean production type elements.

I'm just wondering if anyone's read any really good insightful books on this subject. I realise you can do courses but I don't know where and since I'm not about to make a career out of it, I'm not wild about doing that sort of thing.

But I'd definitely like to know more about cancelling feedback and stuff. All I can do now is sweep the EQs a bit and drop the top/bottom end, etc. I'd like to know a lot more about tweaking and using compression and such.

So, erm, read any good books on the subject?
