We were both at Ramshackle, Bristol's premier 'alternative' club, which occurs at the carling academy.

In an attempt to salvage some indie credibility we both explained that all out flatmates wanted to go or something, and then whinged about the terrible djing.

They did amaze me by not playing song 2 or smells like teen spirit, but the real low points in my opinion were.

1. The DJ (known as 'Dave Remix') was wearing a Fingathing t-shirt, but failed to play anything by fingathing, even when it was requested by my girlfriend.

2. Same DJ played the rockafeller skank

3. Mixed out House of Jealous Lovers at the count of 5!!!

4. Mixed out Tarantula by Pendulum, just at the end of a breakdown, before the drop.

Still, had a good night and didn't succumb to meat on the way home, had cheesy chips.
