This is kind of inspired by the thread regarding tinme travel.

I play in a band and when you've been in a van for an awfully long time conversation does seem to run a bit dry. However recently we did have a conversation about the future, and what we're looking forward to.

Some of the better suggestions were:

Hoverboards (naturally) and Curing Cancer and other incurable diseases

Some of mine were:

Watching tv on your phone. I don't mean downloads or anything, I mean being able to turn your phone on and having, say, the freeview channels.

And also, teleportation. However in my opinion this should be heavily policed and all 'teleporters' would require a licence.

Anyone else looking forward/anticipating anything good from the future?
