I dont know if any of you care but it appears Montenegro might now be an independent state. Personally I think this is a very sad day indeed because the Montengrins will suffer through lower economic performance and having to go through passport controls etc to see their family in Serbia but on a larger scale it marks the end of a genuine attempt to build a state where different people could live together and the creation the one thing the world doesnt need, another state based on ethnic lines.
