got a top book today from waterstones that i reccomend. Its called 'the man behind the shades'....and is the story of Stuey 'the kid' Ungar. This boy grew up around mafia in new york in the 60's and developed a fascinating talent for poker, gin, blackjack etc. He was beating legends at these games when he was 14...due to having a photographic memory and a massive thirst for gambling. As with all geniuses he was severely flawed and lost millions and also turned into a crack and coke addict

Its a mad, fascinating story and a wicked book. If you havent read it...GET IT!!
