Lecturers Strike
Don't know if anyone's ranted about this before but it's pissing me off no end and I only do a part-time course.
I'm not opposed to industrial actions in all forms and can understand strikes where redundancy is threatened or conditions are worsened by employers but these people knew the approximate salary of a university lecturer when they took the job.
I've been waiting for months to find out an exam grade and if this gets delayed any more then there's a potential that it'll take me longer to qualify which loses me a lot of money.
It's not like a baggage handlers strike whereby people miss a day of their holiday, this can potentially fuck up people's futures.
Don't know if anyone else is affected by it but that rant has made me feel a bit better.
