I love the play to bits.

The film was ok, a good adaptation.

But when I went to see it (with my girlfriend of the time and her friends) some annoying girl in the party said "its so obvious from that play that Oscar Wilde was gay" and I said "no, it really isn't"

opinions?

I think she was just being english studenty, because the play in no way hints at the authors sexuality.
