thoughts for a visual theory essay i'm writing [on which my semester grade depends] on the distinction between reality and illusion, and how modern technology has influenced it - feedback would be awesome.

how d'you think using the internet socially - messageboards, instant messenger, chatrooms, blogs, games, or any other device by which you interact with other people - affects, or has affected yr personality?

how long have you been using the internet in such a manner? does it make you more or less self-conscious, more or less self-aware, more or less confident...? how does it affect your sense of humour, your view of other people, and the world around you?

what effect do you think it has on the way you talk [manner, vocabulary, phrases etc]? what effect d'you think it's had on yr relationships - existing ones, ones you've gained because of the internet... how much do you think it has altered you as a person?

seriously, any thoughts - anything at all, whether or not they answer the above questions - would be ace.
