Coastal bought one after comparing it to the Panasonic Lumix which is £130 dearer. She decided that the Lumix had a great Leica lens but was an inferior camera. The Olympus has 7 megapixels, full manual control and shoots RAW files. She found that it won't shoot RAW on macro settings, only jpg's. Full manual and RAW on a £170 compact is nuts and would have been unheard of until this.

If any of you are looking for a compact this is well worth checking out.
