United 93 - the first 9/11 film
the basic concept of which being: a film representation of the fourth plane from 9/11 (i.e. the one that didn't hit a landmark, the one that crashed into a field in pennsylvania)
having just watched the trailer http://www.imdb.com/rg/title-tease/trailers/title/tt0475276/trailers
i'm finding it very hard not to be cynical about the motives behind this film. what do the makers think it will achieve? what will bringing back the memories of such a dark day in such vivid detail accomplish?
if the scenes of a plane entering a building like it was made of cardboard wasn't enough, what is?
obviously, you could see hollywood potential written all over this story. but shouldn't some things be left to just be remembered?
