this past week i have seen:

before sunrise: overrated and dull. ethan hawke is particularly irritating. julie delpy is lovely though.

romance and cigarettes: kate winslet. rowr. brilliant brilliant for the first three quarters, but the ending feels like it belongs to a different film. Christopher Walken is superb and hilarious.

lord of war: brilliant, thought provoking and utterly terrifying film about gun running. should be seen.
