One for the oldies possibly.

As a wee lad, I grew up in the North East during the 70's. One thing i used to see with regular occurance was WHITE DOG SHIT. I know this subject is a tad ugly, but i want fucking answers. I NEVER see this now. Can someone offer an explanation?

And does anyone else have any strange 70's oddities.
