So the new one's supposed to be the first mission Bond carries out, when he apparently earns his license to kill, oui?

If someone watches them all, for the first time, in a few years, how confusing will it be? I know the time-line doesn't really affect the storylines or continuity too much, but the fact that when Bond supposedly starts out, he'll be using a computer, must be silly. How will they explain the Connery ones, then?

At first I thought, 'Maybe they aren't meant to be connected to eachother in any way (the films).' But in that case, they wouldn't have had all the trouble with the guy with the cat.

PS. How ridiculous was his death? Didn't he get dropped into a chimney or something? Bond films are quite shit, post 1967 aren't they?
