My dad bought one to film my brother's wedding in the summer. He asked Shop Guy if it was USB compatible, Shop Guy said "yeah". However, all I can see on the camera is a firewire type output.

So, can you get cables that go from a DV cam's firewire-ish looking output to a USB port?
