Does anyone think that certain types if music is mechanised in a way that feels like it was processed in a way to make it palatable - am I sounding like Theo Adorno here? I was just thinking about the time I worked in a factor for a bit and the people's fear of certain songs on the radio - i.e if it wasn't 'chart friendly' they would anxiously try and tune into a local dance or 'hits' station - I was very intrigued when MOR by Blur came on and they said it was 'really depressing and slow' - very bemusing
