tell me some good anti-spyware stuff that [a] is free and [b] isn't ad-aware? i've got ad-aware but i don't think it's updating properly, and i suspect my computer may have been infiltrated by bastards. i got firefox earlier, but it crashed and refused to work properly [as said in the firefox thread]. i am trying to work out why.

i've got norton antivirus/security but frankly it's anyone's guess whether that's working properly.
