Restless Promotions in conjunction with Mr hollywood_freak and Ms nice_squirrel, presents... a gig in Aberystwyth!

For those of you who've never been. Aber is a seaside town in mid-Wales and is one of the prettiest, friendliest most chilled out and relaxing places you'll ever go. The venue is the famous Coopers Arms where you will find a motley assortment of 'locals' all ready to tell you strange stories. You will also find the finest pint of Guiness this side of the Irish Sea.

Basically if Brighton is a cat, Aberystwyth would be the kitten.

The gig will feature Pagan Wanderer Lu (of course) and also the psychedelic Troubadour of the Unknown, David Mysterious! famous for his looped guitar exploits and cymruphonic songs about Space Cats and Bergerac.

I also want some other local type to open the night. Only proviso is no band with a drumkit. That means acoustic or laptop or cello or harp or banjo or gameboy or whatever you want. If you want to do this and you live in Aber then get in touch with me abergig@paganwandererlu.co.uk

I plan on making this into a whole weekend away. I'll try and be down there for friday and organise a pub crawl/tour of all the best places in town. Then lunch by the sea on Saturday before the gig. Finally on Sunday, those brave enough to venture up the coast to Borth are welcome to accompany us to the famous Animalarium (what's the difference between an Animalarium and a zoo...? find out!).

This will, quite possibly, be the finest weekend you will spend all year. Not just a gig... an EVENT!
