of course i may jsut have had a premonition and it may have been his Stars in their Eyes double, but it got me thinking- which hated pop figure would you want to see begging outside which shop/venue? Eg, Ricky Tomlinson from the 'Kaisers' begging outside Netto or Alison Goldfrapp begging for crack money on the North London line train? Maybe Jim from Doves spinning a yarn about how he needs 68p to get to the hospital to get his head reshaped - you get my drift....
