Is this now being used on DiS as a colloquialism for 'Stoke Newington'?

Laying aside the fact that 'Scummy' might be more appropriate (well that was certainly true when I was at school in the no-more-salubrious Holloway area), I think it should stop. (Assuming it's even started.)

Stokey just makes me think of Stoke. Which is another place entirely.
