i'm gonna buy a laptop, partly for word processing and other windows-y applications, but mainly to record onto, with logic or somthing.

i plain don't like Macs, so theyre out of the question.

so what should i be looking for? i'd like a lot of storage space and presumably need a good soundcard, but what else? i plan to pirate whatever software i use, cos im a cunt. How difficult is this to do? do i just need passwords? can i just get a program to make them up? do i need any extra hardware for recording (extra lines-in or whatever)?

and does anyone know of any obscenely good deals going round?
