Yes, you see in front of you now my 3000th post on these here messageboards. i was considering bowing out spectacularly at 2999 posts to stubbornly keep the anticipation lingering for ever more, until i realised that
1) i don't have the self-control for it and
2) i heavily doubt that anybody actually cares.

So i was gonna make this a stream of thanks and apologise to people on this site, adding also how much this site has given me (which is undoubtedly a lot, of which i am greatly thankful) but i wouldn't want to be seen as pilfering Bamos' idea, and after all 3000 posts makes you officially Half A Bamos. (And around three-sevenths of a Wishpig, but just under twice a Rapscalion.)

So what should i have said? Answers on a ... well ... reply i guess. Thank you.
