hi there, my name is Colin Roberts - the "overlord" you seem to take great issue with, claiming that I have various pseudonyms and the like.

Well, I can inform you here and now that I have NO pseudonyms anymore and I was not party to the madness that ensued after I went home from work yesterday - I don't have an internet connection at home and your claims that my evenings consist of making myself a pseudonym and being "funny" on DiS are untrue and unfounded.

Last night was spent watching South Park, being very ill and occasionally sending text messages to friends old and new.

However, this is a slightly separate issue. The reason for writing this letter is to express a concern I've had for a little while now. You appear to take great happiness is putting down people who are "sad" for spending their lives (an exaggeration) on this website, talking to people about music, their lives and occasionally being silly. Apparently this is really nerdy and these people should go out and make some real friends.

Having met a good deal of the users of this board, I can let you know that NONE of them (or at least, the ones I've been in contact with) are "sad" and they are quite frankly some of the friendliest (and yes, do have friends in real life) people I've had the pleasure to meet.

I think you need to sit down and address your own personal social issues, how your deep-seeded self-loathing manifests itself in outbursts on an internet message board, rather than something creative like songwriting, poetry or lovemaking. Your jealousy at the people on here whom have forged friendships, started bands, found flatmates and exchanged ideas is becoming something of a tiring and empty show that no one on here is really party to reading anymore.

If you're so nonchalant about being banned, why not just do the honourable thing and contribute something worth to the forum, or just leave. Either way I'll be happy. Much like the martbowski situation, there are times when I find you funny and even interesting, but your negativity and unprovoked tirades against certain members of this board are just getting too frequent and the result is, quite simply, that you're looking like the twat - no one else.
