Like your first condom-splitting shag, the end of InMe can’t come quickly enough. But with their many legions of fans only just reaching puberty, the cookie might not be crumbling into a limp biscuit just yet.
A slightly swung half-ballad, ‘Faster The Chase’ is the sound of a bunch of teenage chancers pushing the joke a little too far. As is the norm with teen-metal, the vocals have an agreeable amount of constipation along with solid doses of Aerosmith-styled harmonies and incessant, annoying echo. The generic, buzz-saw guitars fade out after the first verse amid the layered ‘yeahs’ and the warped howl of "you were my enemy now you’re my friend". Insightful stuff. Oh yes.
This kind of sub-Funeral For A Friend drivel has no place in anyone’s record collection. So dire is it, that we’d recommend McFly over InMe any day of the week. At least you’d then be inclined to go and seek out Green Day records rather than the dank back-catalogue of Silverchair that's regurgitated here so poorly. InMe's appeal is unquestionable but they should enjoy it while they can. The hormones will kick in sooner or later.

Re: InMe - Faster The Chase
I met their drummer at Finsbury Park.
He played air drums.
Just for me.
Shit, I've rated them half a star. It should of course be zero.

wft! that has 2 b the most un fair load of shit i've ever heard .... how can anybody compare InMe to Mcfly ... although FTC is not the best song InMe have released it deserves better than some jelous journalist who gets a buzz out of putting other people down as for Mcfly they are manufactured crap they only sell records because little girls fancy them they are music for under 10s ... come to think of it they probably have more sense .... Mcfly are a groupie band InMe are real music only one person i know likes Mcfly because they are crap i cant even believe the day ever came when InMe were compared to them what is the world coming to!?

'Mcfly they are manufactured crap they only sell records because little girls fancy them'
I'm sure you've never said anything that suggests that you fancy any of InMe of course

Re: InMe - Faster The Chase
I would add that InMe are basically the same thing except for 14 year olds.

You missed the words: spotty, black wearing, and depressed for no reason at all, apart from moaning is in fashion.

Re: InMe - Faster The Chase
I stayed around for inMe last year at the Dome thing. I just don't get it. What on earth is so special about this band? It was some of the blandest pap I've heard. Just so utterly nothing...

i think it's always irritating when bands you know are rubbish and deserve nothing (like inme, linkin park, good charlotte) garner lots of fans and sell lots. hence the hatred becomes personal. inme are just crap. nothing personal.

Re: InMe - Faster The Chase
Yep, last year at Reading the whole gang were there - Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, Alien Ant Farm, Blink 182, Sum 41, Bowling for Soup... there was another one too, but I can't remember them. Who actually buys this crap?

Re: InMe - Faster The Chase
for fuck sake i hate all this shit about "who actually buys this crap" and "(insert band name here) are shit". I don't get why people can't just respect other people's taste in music. It's fine to express your opinion about a band, so maybe you do think they suck, but that does not have to be followed by "... and because you like them you suck too..." Come on like!!

Re: InMe - Faster The Chase
because there is good music and there is bad music...otherwise will young is no worse than, say, Muse.
you're allowed opinions - but unless you're saying all music is not measurable in quality (in which it could be argued no music is better than any other, so there is no point to any musical discussion EVER, and quality is purely judged on chart position or something of the like), then bands will always be crap. i don't like inme either, for the record. also, your argument changed halfway through your message.

Re: InMe - Faster The Chase
I can respect other peoples opinion about music, I was just offering mine. You like them, fair enough, I don't.
I didn't say anything about the people who buy the music, so what your last comment is about I'm not sure.

InMe - Faster The Chase
That is the harshest review i have ever read.....its better than The fucking Rasmus. I just wish that people would leave these bands alone, i mean, EVERYONE liked Linkin Park at first until they became more mainstream. Its a good song, from a band who ok, got qbig too quick, but still deserve some recognition after all they are only playing stuff they wanna play. Just let them do their fucking job.
There it is.
Go on laugh. Please.
I hate InMe, by the way. And Linkin Park.
