Little Britain
I never saw it before until I realised HomeChoice had the first series to view on the video-on-demand bit.
So I tried it.
I thought it was shit, basically. I mean, not ITV comedy shit and not Lenny Henry shit but still, fundamentally, bad.
The BBC haven't helped with their canned laughter that consists of people laughing when someone picks up a bottle of wine at the start of a sketch or something but even without that this would be excessively average.
I can only assume it appeals massively to 10-15 year olds.
Why the hell is this so popular when people should be extolling the virtues of a programme like BBC4's The Thick of It that can casually and meaningfully get the word 'cunt' into an episode approximately 15 times, and is hilarious to boot?
