Now, I'm not the sort of person who secretly wishes they'd been born Mark Kermode or been beaten with the same stuck that Alex Cox was but I'm quite into film, especially ones with unfeasible plots - i think the most ridiculous one is for the 2nd Dr Who film in 60s 'Invasion of Earth 2066' or something. This is the plot;

Daleks invade earth in the future whilst Dr WHo is in swinging London.somehow finds out and goes to the future with Bernard Cribbins

Daleks have invaded earth, well London and are all heading towards Northampton

Why?

Northampton happens to be where the Earth's crust is at its thinnest

Why does that matter to the Daleks?

They want to drill into the earth's core and install an engine in it so they can control the earth like its a ginat round space ship and go round the galaxy attack other planets.

If I submitted this to the BBC I'd be pushed in front of a train or something
