Hearts FC
Don't know if anyone has been following or cares about the rolling comedy that is Hearts Football Club just now.
Unbeaten until Saturday and top of the league until Sunday. Manager resigned citing differences with Lithuanian owner, Vladimir Romanov. Chief Executive sacked for same reason yesterday and chairman resigned in protest. Romanovs son brought in to fill both roles for the moment. Still no manager, who'd be attracted to that setup ? I imagine all the first team shirts will be getting reprinted just now with Romanov on the back for all the forthcoming appointees.
Romanov owns 55% of the shares just now. I think the fans will need to think long and hard before allowing him to do a Glazer. He's been going into the dressing room, marking every player out of ten and buying players without the manager seeing them.
I'm sure the site of Tynecastle could house some rather agreeable houses.
