I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned the riots that are going on in Birmingham. Maybe it isn’t a surprise that some people are not sunbathing in their 'multicultural society'. Was this clash inevitable? Basically if anyone on DiS lives in Birmingham, I was wondering if you could help me for a little something I'm doing. Is there more segregation than integration in Birmingham? Does the government need to address the inequalities rooted in British society? Are the riots in Birmingham predominantly between the Afro-Caribbean community and the Asian community? I'm asking this as I need information from people who actually LIVE in Birmingham, but any help/opinions would be useful.
