Team GB is guaranteed a gold medal in the Velodrome, Andy Murray is going for gold on centre court, but my tip for the day is to follow the action in the Olympic Arena, where Max Whitlock, Kristian Thomas (floor), Louis Smith and Max Whitlock again (pummel horse) all have a good chance to win a medal.

And finally, Usain Bolt will confirm his status as the fastest man on earth at 2:25 AM UK time. Good to know some things never change.
