Friends of friends, who are both certified homosexuals, are getting married this autumn. They had separate stag does last weekend, where their friendship circle was split up and they went to different locations. I thought this seemed messy, but it's no less illogical than current stag/hen do arrangements.

It got me thinking that this is a genuinely exciting time where new customs and traditions will be made for gay weddings and potentially followed for years to come, in the same vein of best men/ maid of honour/ not inviting children. What would you suggest? I promise to incorporate all suggestions into my own wedding.
