Worst customer service you have received
Currently in an ongoing dispute with Scottish Power, absolutely dreadful, dreadful company.
I first contacted them as we were due a bill mid June, asking if this can be put on hold till the end of the month as I was moving out, so could supply the final meter readings. Was informed this was okay, my account would be froze- a week later, received the bill. I asked why this was via email due to being told it wouldn't come - no response after 2 weeks and a couple of emails. I raised a complaint about their lack of communication. At the same period, I entered my details online to move the account to my new address - no response. Rang up, provided my meter readings and gave them the date of movement, was informed a letter would be sent to confirm this. Didn't arrive after a week, rang again to be told they had no record of my new address. I was told they'd transfer me to the change of tenancy department, no answer after 50 minutes of being hold. Re-rang up to be told the department had shut an hour ago.
Finally got everything sorted, got an email the other day saying my account would be credited with £30 for the hassle (haven't rceived this yet) and at the same time received a bill for £19 for the new place and energy used so far. I replied to them asking if the £30 could be put towards this £19 and the response I received is them noting my comments and raised it as a complaint to be investigated? I don't know if they took my email to mean I was moaning about the amount, but there is definitely no way they should have as my email was quite thankful
