you may be familiar with the concept of 'gratitude journals', in which you make time to focus on the things that you're grateful for, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant.

thought it might be nice (for labmonkey at least) if we had a thread that we could revisit time and time again to post about the thoughtless (and often thankless) acts other members of our community have done for us that we're grateful for.
