(boring thread) Has anyone applied for an Irish passport on here?

My mum just let me know that my Grandfather (who was a complete twat, so I never met him) was Irish, so I'd qualify for one. THANKS GENETIC LOTTERY! I don't really know how it all works though. Anyone else been through the application process?
