Was watching this awful progamme called 'you have to eat here' or something last night - bit like man vs food and this convinced me that it is impossible to find any 'real,' (not junk or bastardised) food in the USA.

Having never been there and my only reference point being those kind of programmes, films and sit-coms I've realised I've learned at lot of life in the USA. Things like you cant drink from anything but blue/red plastic cups at a party, american high school is divided exactly in two classes, jocks and nerds - that kind of thing.

What else do we know about that strange land across the pond?
