With fairly unpopular website for friendless wannabe-hipsters and pseudo-nerds, drownedinsound.com, due to close down sometime this year, how about, instead of it all just crumbling on the day of reckoning, we do a Radiohead and reduce the site to naught gradually over time? My suggestion in short: we permaban users until there are none left.

Each user has the right to nominate two other users. In three days' time, the powers that be will tally up the nominations, and there will be the chance for everyone to vote to evict (permaban) one of the two users with the most nominations.
