How do YOU deal with them? Feel compelled to call them up on it?
Obviously depends on the context, but generally I just let them bullshit.

Went to see a house that had a really high EPC rating and the Estate agent said it might have been because the person doing the assessment didn't like the couple.....Just kind of went 'hmmmm,could be'.
Guess the only issue here is Dean the estate agent went home thinking 'I can't believe they bought the EPC shit, idiots!God, I am such a fucking great estate agent, fuck yeah Dean!'
Just not going to waste my time calling out idiots. Can't imagine markee or theo ever letting that lie though.
