don't wear shoes in the house myself, but would never nag guests to take theirs off - I'm just not that guy maaaaaaaan

real faff putting on/taking off your shoes when going outside for a smoko...innit

another thing to take into consideration is the shoe wearer might have poor circulation issues - and therefore their feet would be cold without shoes
