Booker Prize winners
recently finished reading A Short History of Seven Killings by Marlon James. as in, 2015's booker prize winner. didn't enjoy is, which is a shame as i was super excited to read it.
looking at the winners https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_Booker_Prize#Winners i've not read that many of them, but i've read a few.
enjoyed The White Tiger a lot, super involving book. liked Vernon God Little at the time, but suspect i'd probably think it was annoying as hell now. didn't get that far through The God Of Small Things before i decided it wasn't for me. don't think i've ever finished a book i've hated as much as i hated The Life Of Pi. keep meaning to read the Hilary Mantel books because they sound good
what booker prize winners have you read and did you enjoy them or not and why
