Gardening
I always thought that gardening was something I would never be able to get into. I can't stand it on TV, I don't give a shit about flowers and their shitty pollen, I'm not patient enough to actually see the process through.
BUT, now I'm in a flat with a private garden, and it's OVERWHELMED with bluebells, the Spanish bastards, I think. Look at the bastards!
So I spent an hour the other night trying to get rid of them, which mainly involved using a hand trowel to try and dig 'em out, with mixed results (sometime the whole bulb came out, sometimes they snapped off so they'll probably grow back). Probably only did about a quarter of the gravel bit, BUT I quite enjoyed it, it was a nice evening, I had a beer and a podcast on the go. Very therapeutic.
Do you garden? Do you enjoy it? Any tips for dealing with bluebells?
