Spring Classics 2016 (Sorry, Milan-San Remo)
We're halfway through the Flanders fortnight so well and truly into the classics season. It's Flanders this Sunday then Paris-Roubaix one week later, with the Scheldeprijs falling in between. Sure to be a subdued atmosphere among the Flemish crowd due to the Brussels attacks and the deaths of Antoine Demoitie and Daan Myngheer. Let's just hope we have good, safe races.
I'm predicting Cancellara for Flanders and Kristoff for Roubaix.
Then, while the cobbled classic riders try to get their arms to stop vibrating, the Ardennes favourites come out to play: we'll have Amstel, Fleche-Wallone and LBL in quick succession.
The GT favourites might be prepping for the Ardennes or the Giro at the tours of Trentino, Basque, Turkey, Romandie or even God's Own Country.
