yo, sup. So i'm in the process of applying for a masters degree, but its been four years since I graduated and I'm just wondering what to do with academic references.

I haven't exactly stayed in touch with any of my lecturers or tutor from university and I'm sort of wondering whether to approach a few of them or to just submit professional references. Does anyone have any experience of approaching academic referees this long after graduating?
