i probably do this thread periodically, but it's always an interesting one, and think we've got people living in a wider variety of places than we ever used to, as the demographics of this site get older and more dadsnet-ish

so: tell me what it is you like about where you live, why you'd recommend it to other people and what sort of people you'd recommend it to. tell us about what you were looking for when you moved there (or didn't leave there), all that sort of thing. people talking about places is fun!
