Less than a week to go until the circus comes to town, and I'm itching to see some football (the last game for months and months and months! NOOOOOOO.) The Pro Bowl has been and gone to a universal shrug, in fact people were more interested in Adam Schefter repeating news from a month ago (I think on balance, chances are Calvin will retire, and I will be gutted, but I don't think we learnt anything new yesterday).

So, use this thread to convince yourself the Broncos might have a chance (maybe repeat some stats about how well #1 ranked defences do in Super Bowls?), obsess over gossip from your team, and discuss plans for watching the big game.

Happily, my bosses are off on Monday so I'm going to take the day off or work from home depending on how cheeky I feel. Going to watch it at home and spend the money I would have spent on a ticket to somewhere to buy a six pack of nice beer and some meat snacks. Me, BBC2, and sound proofing on the door to stop Mrs HYG getting annoyed that I'm keeping her up. That's Super Bowl magic!
