I've taken the day off, because my (already quite late) flight was delayed by three hours due to the engines on the plane not working. Better to figure that out on the ground, I suppose, but it was still disconcerting to hear that one of their attempted fixes was "installing some new software". Got a new plane, got back too late for the shuttle to the car park, my exit on the M25 was closed, and I wanted to cry. Got home with three hours until my alarm was meant to go off. Naaaah.

Nothing to do now. Might get a haircut.
