I remember a discussion a few weeks ago about how the ideological centre of religion seems to be outside/elsewhere (capitalism) and they've had to fit the scripture around it somewhat, especially in the last hundred years.
But I'm not sure I could honestly buy into something with views I find so abhorrent held so centrally.
What's the deal?
